B'er Chayim Congregation is committed to promoting interfaith communication and well being within the community.  The Rabbi is a member of the Cumberland Ministerial Association.  The Temple also hosts small church groups that visit our congregation.  B'er Chayim is among the congregations hosting the annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Eve service.

Community service is also a central part of Jewish practice.  Many Congregation members are leaders in civic organizations throughout the community.  B'er Chayim has a monthly food collection for our local food pantry and commits funds towards social action programs.
